Mike and Brandice Brown Performance Animals

Registered Nurse and Film Animal Trainer

By High School Mike was a well respected horseman on films sets. Handling all sorts of animals, harnessing and driving teams, and especially well known for his Outriding skills. Mike assists with animal selection, training, transporting, and many other behind the scenes duties on film projects. He has a Bachelors Degree in Food Science from Utah State University and works for West Liberty Foods as the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager for their Tremonton, UT plant.

Brandice rode horses as a young girl and as a teen became involved in the PRCA Rodeo Queen Competitions. She held the title of Wilcox Rex Allen Days Rodeo Queen and the Copper and Cotton Stampeed Rodeo Queen. While in college at Arizona State University getting her Bachelors in Ag. Business she inturned with Mike Wood Performance Horses and had the opportunity to get a nice foundation in cutting and reining. After College Brandice attended mounted police training, and was a Pet Trainer for Mesa and Chandler Petsmarts. Since moving to Utah Brandice has focused her time on horses and dogs for film and competition. She has competed at the national level with her horses and trained rats, rabbits, cats, dogs, sheep, and parrots for commercials and film.

Brandice is a Registered Nurse for Intermountain Homecare and Hospice when she’s not on set and mom to 2 of the cutest blonde boys you can find.

Mike and Brandice reside in Utah with their 2 boys Brighton and Wyatt.

Mike & Brandice Brown are known for their well trained dogs and livestock in both film circles and the show ring. They strive to produce quality Futurity and Derby horses, winning herding dogs, and organically raised sheep and cattle. The Brown’s spend many hours daily with all of their animals training, handling, and preparing for film projects.

Mike and Brandice Brown have been working with animals their whole lives. Mikes parents had a Roman Riding act that traveled the US with the RCA (later PRCA) and performed at the Great Adventure theme park in NJ. Mike could be found standing on the backs of his parents paint teams as early as 3 or 4 yrs old.
